The jury took only one hour to convict Vanessa Davis of Intoxication Manslaughter in a traffic accident that killed Pamela Fields on Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur in July of 2015.

Prosecutors say Davis was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the accident.

Davis faces the possibility of 2-20 years in prison once the jury decides punishment. That punishment phase begins Thursday.
