UPS employee indicted on charge of stealing $100,000 worth of cell phones and selling them
The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a man who worked at the UPS hub in Port Arthur on charges of stealing more than $100,000 worth of cell phones.
Investigators say Matthew Pham, 21, of Port Arthur, took entire boxes of Apple and Samsung cell phones intended for delivery to customers.
Pham was employed at the UPS hub in Port Arthur.
Police say he admitted stealing the cell phones and selling them.
If convicted of the 2nd Degree Felony, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
