The City of Port Arthur celebrates 125 years with an 'old fashion' birthday party

PORT ARTHUR — Tuesday evening the city of Port Arthur celebrated 125 years. Attendees enjoyed cake, ice cream, town trivia, and time spent with community members.

Anytime you're growing, you're going to have pains," Port Arthur Mayor Barite. "You're going to have changes and other things, but through the grace of God we have been able to maintain. We've survived. We have actually weathered the storm."
