SETX Civilian Taskforce looks to continue aid to those struggling

A group of Southeast Texans are continuing their efforts to aid those affected by Tropical Storm Harvey, and are now gathering supplies to be given out.

"We don't have any intention of going away, as long as the need is there, we're still going to continue to do this," says Autumn Brown, founder of the Taskforce. "I'll still work every day on applying for grants and begging for supplies and building partnerships with entities that'll continue to send us stuff."

Brown has not been back to work since Tropical Storm Harvey made landfall in late August. She says as long as there's still aid to be given, she'll continue to give it.

"When people come the last person in line that day gets the same amount of stuff that the first person in line gets."
