One man who lives near Lumberton was able to help out Hardin County deputies when he peered outside his kitchen window and says he saw two teens burglarize his neighbor.

Casey Nichole Miller, 17, of Silsbee, and Zackary Slade Thibodeaux, 19, of Lumberton, are charged with one count of Burglary of a Habitation. Bond is set at $25,000.

"I said this can't be happening," says David Linney. "They both appear beside his home with a big screen TV running with it and I'm like, 'They just robbed my next door neighbor's house in broad daylight'".

Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis says most of the property was retrieved from many houses in the Woodcrest community, but says he was running into trouble with victims not filing police reports.

"It enables us to try and help you get your property back and we may catch a break from your case that may help us with other cases that are pending," says Davis.

Two more suspects have been identified but not formally charged.
