Texas Economy: Local oil industry's role in a thriving economy

Consumers are paying less at the pump across the nation and across Texas these days. While that's welcoming news to many consumers; however, for much of the Southeast Texas labor force it's a concern because the oil industry is what keeps the economy thriving.

We talked to some local, longtime petrochemical employees who say there's no need to panic because the industry is still a force to be reckoned with.
