PORT ARTHUR — Port Arthur Fire Department responded Saturday to reports of a silo fire at the Port of Port Arthur, and the fire continues to burn.
Port Arthur Fire Chief Larry Richard says firefighters responded Saturday to reports of heightened temperatures in the silo, but that it wasn't until Sunday when the pellets caught fire.
Six News on Fox and KFDM's Simone Braithwaite reports on why firefighters have yet to put out the burning pellets and how four days of smoke in the air is affecting residents.
