POLLEN! Massive amounts of pollen floating on Toledo Bend Reservoir

John Larry Rice from Toledo Town Car Wash, on the Louisiana side of Toledo Bend Reservoir, shot an incredible photo of massive amounts of pollen floating on the lake, and all pushed to one side by the wind and currents.

Spring is definitely in the air as this area has experienced an outbreak of budding trees and flowers, and with it a large amount of pollen.

The Weather Channel website shows tree pollen in our area as "very high", and it's currently being measured at a whopping 3,287ppm, which is the measurement of the number of grains of pollen in a cubic meter of air.
