BEAUMONT — The ball is rolling for a new project at the Ford Field Athletic Complex in Jefferson County.
A proposal to design a new concession stand, in hopes to accommodate more customers and bring in more revenue.
They plan to design the new concession stand, only a few feet from the old one, and turn the old one into a storage building.
The ball park says they pull in about $600,000 in revenue per year, and can host up to 60 teams per weekend.
Some other factors like electricity and other utilities are still to be discussed.
Commissioner Bo Alfred says he has no timetable of when a decision will be made.
