Neighbors move back into remodeled Harvey damaged homes ahead of Thanksgiving

Neighbors in Orange celebrated Thanksgiving early this year, after walking back in to their newly renovated homes.

The homes received 4 feet of water from Tropical Storm Harvey, damaging everything inside, forcing the homeowners to seek temporary shelter.

The neighbors were unable to afford the cost of repairing the damages and applied for assistance.

Shalom Home Builders and volunteers gutted the homes, made repairs, and supplied all new furniture.

The homes were completed this week in time for Thanksgiving.
