Habitat for Humanity gives Beaumont families early Christmas
The season of giving continues and for a few fortunate families in Beaumont, Christmas has come early - all thanks to Habitat for Humanity.
Debra and Rick Westerman of North Carolina's Habitat for Humanity traveled to Beaumont with a truck full of Christmas decorations to share with hurricane victims.
"The devastation that we saw on TV from Texas and Florida from the hurricanes, people's belongings on the curbside, and we just felt 'how can we give back and how can we help these families,'" Debra Westerman said.
Ten families were selected to receive a Christmas tree and decorations.
