Community resources fair one stop shop for those affected by Harvey

Southeast Texans affected by Tropical Storm Harvey attended a community resources fair in Beaumont to receive services to help them recover.

"It's like a one stop that people can come and get services from many different agencies within the community," Stacey Sewell said.

Those agencies included representatives with FEMA, military groups, and services for those with disabilities.

"A lot of people do not know what's out here for them... basically that's why i came out for to see the different resources that was out here," Conswella Bates said.

Employment and housing services were also offered to those displaced by Harvey. One woman says she lost her home because of Harvey, and the fair is helping her move in the right direction.

"We can never really have too many resources available to our community our residents, we want our residents back in the area and we want our economy to continue to do well," Pamela Wise said.
