BEAMOUNT — Students at Charlton- Pollard Elementary in Beaumont learn the meaning of National Day of Mourning.
Fourth and fifth grade students watched the live broadcast of the state funeral for the 41st president during class .
The social studies students were given a lesson on the history of President Bush and the great things he did in and out of the oval office.
The schools flags were flown at half-staff in honor of National Day of Mourning.
