Beaumont City Council, setting priorities in recent work session

BEAUMONT — Beaumont City Council held a work session Tuesday at Tyrrell Park to discuss issues including city finances and unsafe buildings downtown.

Mayor West commented on the growing concern of homelessness in Beaumont.

We are looking at establishing a camp at some place that is unknown." Mayor West "We are just beginning the process but then with that, we can look at a no camping ordinance that would prevent people from camping in such areas."
