Concern from parents over PNG Indianette tradition

Some PNGISD parents say they're concerned about the direction of the Indianette drill team. They believe the tradition PNG is known for is suffering.

The drill team has been around more than fifty years, and parents say it's losing whats made it so strong for many years.

"It hurts to see the girls hurt," says Leanne St. John, a former Indianette and current Port Neches resident.

The major concern parents have is those participating on the drill team. A mother of one of those participating says there were 26 Indianettes last year, compared to 60 four years ago.

KFDM/Fox 4's Chris Mullooly has the report.
