UPDATE: BPD releases mugshot of suspect arrested for CVS robbery, bond set at $50,000
UPDATE: A Nederland man is being held on a total $50,000 bond after he was charged with robbing a CVS on Wednesday in Beaumont. Chase Martin Floyd is being held on $25,000 bond on an aggravated robbery charge and a $25,000 bond on a robbery charge.

Beaumont Police are releasing a mugshot of a suspect arrested in connection with Wednesday robbery of the CVS Pharmacy at College and 11th in Beaumont.
Beaumont officers, along with Sheriff's deputies, Nederland Police and Port Neches Police, took Chase Martin Floyd, 22, of Port Neches, into custody Friday afternoon on Highway 69 near Nederland Avenue.
He was driving a white pickup truck, the same type of vehicle witnesses reported leaving the scene of the CVS robbery.
Police say witnesses called 911 following the robbery and provided a vehicle description and license plate.
Detectives say they were able to positively identify Martin as the suspect and police obtained two robbery warrants.
