Two people have been arrested after a travel trailer stolen from a Rose City dealership ended up in Silsbee last week.

Deputies with the Hardin County Sheriff's Office on Feb. 6 found the trailer just north of Silsbee with "a large amount of property believed to be stolen from the Golden Triangle area," according to a news release by the sheriff's office.

Investigators recovered an automobile, motorcycle, multiple guns and electronics. They also found one pound of methamphetamine from the travel trailer.

Samantha Thomas, a 32-year-old Buna woman, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a felony amount of methamphetamine. She also had outstanding warrants out of Jefferson and Orange counties for evading arrest and felony drug charges.

She posted bond in Hardin County and was released into the custody of the Orange County Sheriff's Office to face charges there.

Robert Deckert is accused of leading Lumberton police officers on a chase Sunday, Feb. 11 as they continued investigating the theft and drug case.

He wrecked the motorcycle in the chase and "was in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine," authorities say. Deckert, 34, was treated at a local hospital before he was taken to the Hardin County jail.

Deckert faces two counts of felony drug possession, felony theft, felony evading detention and a misdemeanor drug charge. He was released from jail on bonds totaling $30,750.

The news release says Deckert is accused of possessing and trafficking nearly three pounds of meth.
