Man on parole for crimes in Jasper County now faces child indecency charge
A man who is on parole for crimes in Jasper County is now facing a child indecency charge in Sabine County, according to DailyNewsAndMore.com in Hemphill.
Thomas Alan Parker, a 42-year-old Panola County man, was arrested Feb. 15 and he remains in the Sabine County jail under a $75,000 bond.
Parker is also accused of public intoxication and violation of parole in addition to the child indecency charge.
No details about that case have been made available and DailyNewsAndMore.com is still waiting on the release of an arrest affidavit.
Official records show that Parker has a lengthy history of criminal charges and convictions which stretch back to 1994 when he was 18-years-old. He has served four different prison sentences since 1993. His latest prison sentence stemmed from his third conviction for driving while intoxicated and also assault on a public servant in Jasper County.
Parker had been out of prison for only nine months before his latest arrest.
