Here is where you can pick up sandbags in Southeast Texas

UPDATE:

The City of Beaumont is providing sandbags to City residents.

Friday, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Saturday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Sunday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Monday, 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

There will be a maximum number of 16 sandbags per vehicle. They are available at the Public Works location at 2610 Concord.

Sandbags are also available for people OUTSIDE the city limits, at the following Jefferson County Precincts.

Precinct #1 – 20205 Hwy 90, China

Precinct #2 – 7759 Viterbo Rd, Nederland

Precinct #3 – Jade & Hwy 73, Port Arthur

Precinct #3 – Hwy 124, Hampshire

Precinct #4 – 7780 Boyt Rd, Beaumont

Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick issued a disaster declaration earlier Thursday.

The city of Port Arthur is now providing sandbags at the Civic Center, but you will need to bring a shovel. - 3401 Cultural Center Drive

o pre-filled sandbags available for senior citizens and disabled residents

PINEHURST SITE:

Operations & Maintenance building, 3000 Gull Street

o will be open Saturday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (as long as supplies last)

Cogbill Construction will be donating sand bags to those in need.

Wallace Cogbill has purchased sand bags to ensure the safety of his employees homes and families. We are now donating the remaining sand bags to families in need. Please come see us at 2325 South Main St. Vidor Texas, 77662.

Sand Bags will be handed out on a first come first served basis, from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday August 25th, or until we run out.

Cogbill Construction would like to advise everyone to stay prepared during Hurricane season. Fuel your vehicles and generators, keep at least one case of water per person on hand and have several days of food supply for each individual.

Bridge City:

Residents must call City Hall at (409) 735-6801 before picking up their sandbags, city manager Jerry Jones said. Residents will then be directed where to pick up their sandbags.
