Astros Caravan in SETX; they meet first responders and lend helping hand

The Astros Caravan stopped in Port Arthur to meet first responders and lend a helping hand in the community.

"To see them through the years and the team change and actually have them come down here I'm kind of star struck," Ian Briant said, first responder.

Tyler White, Tony Kemp, and former player and sportscaster Geoff Blum interacted with fans and said thanks for their support.

"We put the jersey on and they put their lives on so it's one of those things it's good to be out here and give back to the community," Tony Kemp said.

Later in the evening the team paraded Rodgers Park, where fans had a chance to meet and greet with their favorite players.

"All the responders they're true hero's I know they went through a tough time and all of that and this is there home," Tyler White said.

The Caravan will continue Fan Fest Saturday in Houston at Minute Maid Park.
