Port Neches family files lawsuit against Optimum Clinic nurse practitioner and others
Breaking new developments in a KFDM investigation into a hormone therapy clinic in Nederland.
A few hours ago on Wednesday, May 23, a Port Neches widow and her two children filed a lawsuit against the nurse practitioner who owns Optimum Medical Weight Control and Family Wellness.
The family blames the clinic, and doctors supervising the clinic, for the death of 47-year-old Brad Guilbeaux.
KFDM's Angel San Juan has an exclusive interview with the Guilbeaux family.
In the lawsuit, the Guilbeauxs claim unsafe doses of hormones killed Brad Guilbeaux.
The family says the unsafe doses were prescribed at Optimum Clinic.
The family has made no public comments since Brad Guilbeaux's death.
But in an exclusive interview with Angel San Juan, they are now speaking out with what, they say, is the goal of preventing any other family from going through the same pain and anguish they suffered.
